For a long time, I’ve been very interested in the problem of cosmetics that caused excessive skin irritation and skin problem in the course of medical treatment. First of all, I focused on the countless cosmetics that are neither healthy nor eco-friendly.Until now, a staggering 90% of cosmetic containers were disposed of as non-recyclable waste. This massive accumulation of discard was met with a pervasive silence; neither corporations nor consumers queried the ultimate fate of these countless forsaken receptacles.Traditional plastic cosmetic containers, while affordable, expedient, and convenient, fail to degrade even after a time span of five centuries. The urgent cost of reducing the damage caused by the plastics we've carelessly spread around is much higher than the short-term benefits of their initial convenience and low price. Our belief sharply contrasts the longevity of plastic decay spanning over half a millennium. Many ingredients from the plastic-contaminated soil are filling every cell of our bodies again and returning to skin inflammation. So far, we've gained beauty from cosmetics, but ironically we’re losing it again. Miellabee's vision of true beauty goes beyond the superficial, necessitating a balance with nature that permeates every aspect of the product lifecycle. From the very beginning to the end of its use, our commitment to aesthetic harmony ensures a product experience that has no lasting negative impact on the environment. So I tried to make healthy and eco-friendly cosmetics that can protect our skin and the Earth together, and I launched Miellabee in 2021. Miellabee's cosmetic containters are crafted from native Korean beeswax - a testament to our commitment to sourcing locally and sustainably. I'm confident that the qualities of Miellabee's cream & cleanser are the best in the world.For perfect face cleansing and moisturizing, we researched and developed the most important ingredient, ‘cosmetic surfactant’ directly to the highest level. Also, much like the painstaking process of crafting nutritious sustenance for our bodies, Miellabee meticulously curates every element, from the careful selection of raw materials to the final stages of packaging. Our commitment stems from the belief that cosmetics act as nourishment for our skin.We sampled and cherry-picked the most exquisite edible oils and fresh ingredients, unwavering in our refusal to compromise on the costs of raw materials and production procedures.
